In fact, the entertainment industry has been reworking older classics, such as “Carrie”, “The Shining”, and “Children of the Corn”, as well as contemporary favorites like “1408”, “IT”, and most recently, “Doctor Sleep”, to create enthralling transformations that are bound to snatch up fans of the spine-chilling genre. There are even time-honored, Stephen King horror collectibles that feature many characters and villains from his famed movie franchise. So, in light of appreciation for all that goes bump in the night, we’re here to spread the word about the latest TV adaptation from his devilishly written works, “The Outsider”.

When was “The Outsider” published?

With over 50 adaptations under his belt, the master of horror is set to take the spotlight once again. The spine-chilling novel was released on May 22, 2018, selling 97,000 copies the first week that it hit store shelves. So, it’s safe to say that this 560-page-turner, “The Outsider” will be making a riveting debut next year in the form of a miniseries. Who knows? There may soon be Stephen King horror collectibles that feature the cast from this hostile book!

What do we know about the miniseries so far?

Set to premiere on January 12, 2020, “The Outsider” TV adaptation will be a 10-episode series that will follow police detective Ralph Anderson, alongside eccentric private investigator Holly Gibney, as they examine a mysterious circumstance that finds them deep in the Georgia woods investigating an enigmatic death of an 11-year-old boy. After just losing a son of his own, Anderson is forced to explain the unexplainable, as horrifying evidence stacks up to peg local townie and Little League coach, Terry Maitland. Though insistent on his innocence, Maitland experiences animosity from his neighbors as the investigation continues, employing two common genres of Stephen King, horror mixed with a bit of police procedural. Each chapter of the series is set to follow the trail of clues that could lead the protagonists deep into the cryptic inquiry behind who killed Frank Peterson.

Needless to say, to the fans who’re obsessed enough to buy horror movies online to watch them year-round, or those who may be on the haunt for some horrifying tales to bewitch the senses, here are some of Nightmare Toys’ most cherished, binge-worthy contenders.

The Conjuring (2013)

While there are many alarming choices from The Conjuring Universe, none make the same bloodcurdling impression as the first installment in the creep-tastic franchise. For those who have it on their horror bucket list, The Conjuring is a supernatural film that follows a real-life telling of the experiences of the Perron family while living in their Rhode Island farmhouse in the ‘70s. It also gruesomely intertwines demonologists, Lorraine and Ed Warren, as they attempt to investigate these paranormal events.

Fans of the film should be pleased by our devilishly delightful collection of The Conjuring horror keepsakes, including Annabelle, The Nun, and The Crooked Man.

Coraline (2009)

Although Coraline is an animation that’s not particularly known for being frightening or gory, the reality is it has some grisly terrifying scenes that were inspired by age-old folktales. So, why hasn’t it been added to your must-watch Halloween list?

Of all the nightmarish monsters in this quivering horror film, none are more brilliantly creepy than, Other Mother. Thanks to Pop! Movies and Pop! After all, who wouldn’t want to watch as an unnerving clown maniacally terrorizes his prey on all Hallows eve? Those who’re fans of the homicidal, Art the Clown, can even reanimate the beloved murderer with some of his cult collectibles — including a full-bodied costume, chilling mask, and even a dreadful tee designed to cloak their ghoulish charm.

Carrie (1976)

The days leading up to Halloween wouldn’t be the same if they didn’t include watching one of Stephen King’s iconic cult classics. That’s we recommend that you add Carrie to your list of alarmingly, bone-chilling horror films. An oldie, but a goodie, Carrie is an adaptation of the famed horror novel which follows a teen who faces bullying at school and parental abuse at home. Equipped with supernatural powers, she takes a malevolently dark turn for the worst, making the violent plot sequence a cackling good time for horror lovers.

If you buy horror movies online and haven’t already acquired this eerie addition, we’ve got an impressive DV that contains all the chilling bonus features. Although if your devotion extends beyond basic film collection, a bloody coffee mug or mini figurine may be enough to tame your loathing heart.

Chucky (1988 – 2019)

Whether you binge-watch the series or select a slasher favorite from the famed horror franchise, no countdown to Halloween could ever be complete without a heavy dosage of Chuck! After all, his voodoo-chanting is rather mesmerizing to worshipers of the notorious serial killer. So, grab yourself some popcorn and start decorating your crypt with your collection of Child’s Play action figures, horror movies pillows, and dolls, dead-icating your evening to the Good Guys!
