Many familiar faces will be returning

Tim Burton, the visionary director behind the original film, will be returning to helm the sequel. In addition, Michael Keaton is returning to play Betelgeuse, the supernatural “bio-exorcist”, with Winona Ryder also reprising her role as Lydia Deetz, the gothic teenager who forms an unlikely friendship with the demon. Since the chemistry between Keaton and Ryder was the highlight of the original film, their reunion onscreen is highly anticipated. Catherine O’Hara is also back as Delia Deetz, the matriarch of the family that finds itself haunted in the original.
