Carrie
Another terrifying adaptation a Stephen King horror novel, Carrie is the revenge fantasy story of a sensitive and reserved teen named Carrie White. Cruelly ridiculed by her classmates and verbally abused by her repressive and psychotic mother, Carrie discovers her telekinetic powers brought on by the onset of adolescence. Events quickly start to deteriorate as she clashes with her religiously fanatic mother and her sadistic classmates. Following a brutally humiliating prank at the high school prom, Carrie unleashes her fury on everyone who has ever taunted her.
Poltergeist
This movie follows the story of a regular family whose home is haunted by a Poltergeist. When ten-year old Carol Anne first hears a voice emanating from the TV set, she initially mistakes it for that of a playful child, but soon things take a turn for the worse, and the voices become angry and menacing, eventually pulling Carol Anne into their world. Watch with dread as the parents seek the help of an exorcist to liberate their child from the clutches of evil.
