Our 5 favorite films to binge-watch before Halloween

Whether you prefer stand-alone films or haunting franchises with a grisly cult following, there are so many movies to go batty over as Halloween night inches closer. Needless to say, to the fans who’re obsessed enough to buy horror movies online to watch them year-round, or those who may be on the haunt for some horrifying tales to bewitch the senses, here are some of Nightmare Toys’ most cherished, binge-worthy contenders.   

The Conjuring (2013)

While there are many alarming choices from The Conjuring Universe, none make the same bloodcurdling impression as the first installment in the creep-tastic franchise. For those who have it on their horror bucket list, The Conjuring is a supernatural film that follows a real-life telling of the experiences of the Perron family while living in their Rhode Island farmhouse in the ‘70s. It also gruesomely intertwines demonologists, Lorraine and Ed Warren, as they attempt to investigate these paranormal events.

Coraline (2009)

Carrie (1976)

The days leading up to Halloween wouldn’t be the same if they didn’t include watching one of Stephen King’s iconic cult classics. An oldie, but a goodie, Carrie is an adaptation of the famed horror novel which follows a teen who faces bullying at school and parental abuse at home. Equipped with supernatural powers, she takes a malevolently dark turn for the worst, making the violent plot sequence a cackling good time for horror lovers.
