Michael Myers fans rejoice because there’s some chilling news about the Halloween franchise. Director, John Carpenter has confirmed circulating rumors which means two sequels are set to follow the successful 2018 reboot. So, it’s time for you to start gripping your Michael Myers horror collectibles as tight as you can because you’re going to have an alarming two years anticipating the premieres of these upcoming horror films. The best part is that the first movie is already in the works.

Halloween Kills (2020)

Filming for “Halloween Kills” began early this month, placing it in theatres for October 16, 2020. The final scene from last year’s film ends with Laurie’s home engulfed in flames and a focused shot of the burnt basement containing Michael. Although, if you waited around for the credits to finish rolling you would have noticed the intense breathing, confirming that the infamous serial killer likely survived the events of the film — and that’s where “Halloween Kills” begins. How do we know that exactly? Well, you can thank Jamie Lee Curtis’ Instagram feed. One of the photos that she posted features her all bruised and beaten up. In fact, if you look closely at her injuries in the final scene of the reboot, the two are uncanny.

Halloween Ends (2021)

Since we don’t have the official plot and have only seen some online speculations, there isn’t really much to say about the final movie in the trilogy, “Halloween Ends”, other then we know that it will premiere a year later, on October 15, 2021.

Needless to say, while there isn’t a lot of information floating around at the moment, here at Nightmare Toys we’re incredibly excited and have ordered more Michael Myers horror collectibles to celebrate his undying return to the big screen.

What are your predictions for the upcoming horror films? Do you think Michael’s days of terrorizing Laurie will be over?
