Since the third installment released in 2021, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, did so well at the box office, horror fans have been waiting for another entry into the core franchise. Well, confirmation has been made that we can expect Conjuring: The Beyond to hit the big screens this year! Continue reading to learn more about what to expect from this horror addition.

What’s the release date:

There is still no official release date available, but New Line Cinema has confirmed that it will likely be towards the end of 2023.

What about the cast?

The Warrens (Patrick Wilson as Ed and Vera Farmiga as Lorraine) will be returning in The Conjuring 4. However, there aren’t any other known updates regarding the movie’s cast. Since the Warrens are the investigators of supernatural reports in each installment, there’s a huge chance that the cast will be brand-new faces—apart from Annabelle the doll, of course.

Do we know any plot details yet?

While there’s no official plot for The Conjuring 4, fans are hopeful—and have witnessed teasers over the years—that the newest installment may deal with their most famous case: The Amityville Horror.

That said, the movie could tackle other high-profile hauntings such as the Snedeker house, The Smurl haunting, or the Haunting of Union Cemetery.
