You probably see daylight as something that’s too drab and boring, with vibrant illumination spreading rays of sunshine on otherwise spooky and alarming objects. However, if you relish the sudden slip into madness you receive from the moment the sun goes down then you know that most of your favorite horror plots should have taken place on this day. Needless to say, if you’re a ghoulish creature who craves this extension of darkness, the onset of daunting chills, trickling rain and gusting wind, then it’s a perfect excuse to curl up and watch a few spooky movies while admiring your horror accessories and get yourself into a suspenseful mood for all thing’s horror-ific.

Even if the blackened darkness of nightfall has overpowered your surroundings that doesn’t mean that you need to be forced to spend your evening in the shadowy gloom. After all, the ultraviolet purple light has an eerie-sistable touch when it radiates across the room. And while you’re at it, why not finish off with a few flickering flame candles to embellish your chilling crypt.
